Hassell LTD provide both professional tree care and grounds maintenance in Cheshire, Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. We started as a small family business nearly half a century ago, and whilst we have grown to become a sizeable and well known firm, we never stray from our original family business values. Based in Knutsford, we cover all of Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales.
Our Story
Hassell ltd started in the early 1960’s by John Hassell Snr but was officially established in 1972 by experienced tree surgeon John Neil Hassell Jnr.
Over the years we have gained an invaluable reputation for providing an amazing service whilst never charging more than competitive rates.
As of today, we are one of the longest standing Tree Surgeon and Grounds Maintenance firms in the Northwest, Hassell Ltd’s reputation speaks for itself. Our business ethos is to always maintain high standards yet remain competitive, be reliable and safe in all aspects of our work.
All our staff are qualified to NPTC standards, and undergo constant training to stay up to date with all the latest techniques, and machines.
Since our inception, we have grown into a sizeable family business, and specialise in 3 specific areas of tree work.
Tree Surgeon Services
Tree Surgery is our bread and butter, in 40 years there is nothing we don’t know about trees! Whether you require tree felling, a tree haircut or even a tree stump removal service, Hassell and Sons are the team for you, fully qualified, vastly experienced and great value for money!
Garden Maintenance and Landscaping
Garden Maintenance and Landscaping is an area that we have grown to love over the years, it really fits in with our ethos of providing a reliable service, as we have several long standing customers of whom we regularly maintain and make changes to their gardens.
Tree Planting
Through popular demand, we regularly source trees, plants and hedges for both our regular customers and new. We offer a comprehensive service which involves sourcing the best quality trees, sometimes from across Europe, and being able to provide them throughout the North West.
